The control printed circuit board from a Fanuc A06B-6061 series digital AC servo drive unit. Fanuc carries it under two numbers, and both are on the board: A06B-6061-J004 is the service-part order number, and A16B-1200-0742 is the board’s own PCB number, here at revision 05C. It is the low-power intelligence of the drive — it takes the PWM serial command from the CNC, closes the current and velocity loops, reads the motor feedback and fires the gate drives.
A06B: Fanuc drive and motor prefix, covering servo amplifiers, spindle amplifiers and motors.
6061: the drive family. The 6050 / 6057 / 6061 groups are Fanuc’s early digital AC servo and velocity-control units, the generation fitted with model 0 and 5 series AC motors on lathes and machining centres.
-J004: the field that matters most. In Fanuc A06B numbering an H suffix denotes a complete unit, while a J suffix denotes a service part or component of that unit — here, the control board. A J-number is a board; an H-number is an amplifier.
A16B-1200: the PCB number group used for the control boards of this drive generation. The sibling board A16B-1200-0670 is the control PCB fitted in the A06B-6057 amplifier.
/05C: the board edition, or revision level. A revision suffix, not a different part.
Drive control boards are matched to the drive family, not just to the machine. Boards from neighbouring A06B groups look similar, use the same connector styles and will physically go in, but the current-sense scaling and gate-drive arrangement differ, and a mismatch typically shows up as an alarm on power-up or as a damaged power stage. The number silk-screened on the board is the authoritative identifier, not the amplifier nameplate.
This generation of Fanuc drive is parameter-set from the CNC, not by pots on the board. A replacement control board carries no servo parameters, so the CNC servo parameters and the motor ID govern the motor fitted.
Sold as 1 piece — one bare control PCB at service-part level. New old stock, in an opened box. The complete amplifier for this family is the A06B-6061-H0xx.
Searchable equivalents of the same part: A06B-6061-J004, A06B6061J004, A06B 6061 J004, A16B-1200-0742, A16B12000742, A16B-1200-0742/05C, A16B12000742 05C. Other editions of A16B-1200-0742 are the same board at a different revision. A06B-6061-H0xx is a complete amplifier, a different item at a different level of assembly. Neighbouring board numbers such as A16B-1200-0670 belong to other amplifiers in the family and are related, not equivalent.
