What these specs mean in practice

The 15° contact angle is the speed-biased choice: the ball load runs closer to radial, which cuts centrifugal loading and heat, so the bearing turns faster and cooler than a 25° build in the same envelope while carrying less thrust and offering less axial stiffness. Universal grinding is the useful part of this designation — the ring faces are ground to a calculated stand-off, so two of these clamped together produce light preload with nothing to shim and no risk of over-tightening a set. Note the tolerance class is P0, normal, rather than a super-precision P4 or P4S grade; the geometry is the precision-spindle geometry but the running-accuracy limits are standard, which is exactly what a great many machine spindles, pumps and gearbox pinion positions actually call for. The phenolic cage is light, quiet and self-lubricating, but it does not like aggressive solvents or sustained high temperature.

Fitting notes

Angular contact bearings take thrust in one direction only, so something must oppose it — a second bearing, a spring pack or a shoulder. Watch orientation: the wide land of the outer ring goes toward the thrust. Interference fit adds preload on top of anything ground in, so check shaft and housing sizes against the drawing before pressing, and never press through the ball complement. Grease sparingly with a spindle grease or run oil mist.
