An MRC 9200-series ball bearing with a split outer ring, 30 mm bore, 62 mm outside diameter, 16 mm width. The outer ring is manufactured in two halves that clamp together in the housing bore. The raceway shoulders are cut away on one side of each ring so a full ball complement can be loaded, which is what gives the 9200 series its axial capacity and makes it an angular contact rather than a Conrad deep groove bearing.
In the MRC scheme 9200 is the split outer race series and 06 is the bore code for 30 mm, giving the same 30 x 62 x 16 mm envelope as an ISO 6206. The trailing H1 is an MRC internal-variation code and is carried as a searchable cross-reference rather than published as a spec.
A split outer ring lets the bearing be assembled around a shaft that is already in place, and lets the two halves be clamped to a defined axial position by the housing rather than by a shaft shoulder and locknut. That suits machine builds where the shaft cannot be withdrawn, and spindle and headstock work where the outer ring needs positive axial restraint in both directions. The split line is machined as a matched pair, so the halves are not individually interchangeable with halves from another bearing.
1 Pc. One complete bearing: inner ring with ball complement and cage, plus both outer ring halves. Open, no seals and no shields. Straight bore. No clamping ring, retainer plate or housing supplied.
The two outer ring halves are kept as the matched set they were ground as, and are clamped square in the housing bore so the split line is not loaded. Mounting force on the inner ring only.
Interchange for a split outer race bearing is within the MRC 9200 series at the same bore code. An ISO 6206 shares the 30 x 62 x 16 mm envelope but has a one-piece outer ring and a Conrad deep groove raceway, so it is a related size and a different bearing: it will not clamp axially the way a split outer ring does. A 7206 angular contact bearing likewise shares the envelope with a one-piece outer ring.
