Decoding the designation

7006 is the ISO 70 series size code. The leading C denotes SKF’s 15° contact angle super-precision execution; the AC prefix on the same envelope would denote 25°. DGA is a preload class on a universally matchable bearing — the DGA / DGB / DGC ladder runs light, medium, heavy, so DGA is light preload. P4A is SKF’s super-precision tolerance class, equivalent to ABEC 7.

What these specs mean in practice

A 15° contact angle favours speed and radial stiffness; a 25° execution in the same envelope trades speed for thrust capacity.
