A single-row deep groove ball bearing in the 63 heavy dimension series — 95 mm bore, 200 mm outside diameter, 45 mm wide, with pressed steel shields on both sides and factory grease inside. Deep groove ball bearings take radial load plus axial load in either direction. At this size and section the part is a large motor, crusher, mill drive, fan hub and heavy gearbox bearing.
6 – single-row deep groove ball bearing3 – dimension series 63, the heavy section and width19 – bore code, 19 x 5 = 95 mm bore2Z – pressed steel shields on both sides (SKF scheme). A single Z is one shield only; 2RS1 would be contact rubber sealsJEM – an SKF factory and variant designation carried on the carton and ring marking; retained here as an ordering referenceNo clearance suffix in the designation – normal (CN) radial internal clearance
6319ZZ is the same closure written in the Japanese style. The form 6319-ZZ-C3 also circulates for this size; that is the greater-clearance variant, and it is carried here as a search reference rather than as this bearing’s clearance class.
Two specs decide this bearing. First, the heavy 63 section: at 95 mm bore it uses a 200 mm outside diameter and 45 mm width where a light-series 6019 makes do with 145 mm and 24 mm. That buys a much larger ball complement and a great deal more radial capacity and life, at the cost of size, weight and a lower speed ceiling. A 6219 or 6019 of the same bore is a different bearing, not a cheaper one.
Second, shields are not seals. A steel shield runs with a small gap at the inner ring, so it costs almost no friction and does not limit speed, but it only holds back dry dust and coarse debris — not washdown water, coolant or fine wet grit. If the machine gets hosed down, a contact-sealed variant is the right part. An open 6319 is not a substitute either: it arrives dry and expects the housing to seal and lubricate it.

Sold as 1 piece, one shielded bearing. No snap ring, no housing.
At 95 mm bore with a heavy section, heat mounting to roughly 80 to 100 °C is the practical method; a cold press needs real force and risks bruising the ball path. Press only on the ring being fitted and never across the balls — a shield knocked out of true will rub for the rest of its life. Do not pry the shields to add grease; the factory fill is matched to the bearing.
Genuine interchanges are same-envelope 95 x 200 x 45 mm deep groove bearings shielded on both sides: FAG 6319-2Z, NSK 6319ZZ, NTN 6319ZZ and Nachi 6319ZZ. A 6319-2Z/C3 (greater clearance), a 6319-2RS1 (contact seals), a 6319-Z (one shield) and an open 6319 all change fit-up or sealing duty — related parts, not drop-in equivalents.
