RHP 7006TDULP4 angular contact ball bearings supplied as a matched duplex pair. Each bearing is 30 mm bore, 55 mm outside diameter, 13 mm width, single row, steel balls, phenolic cage, open on both faces, straight bore.
70 is the ISO light dimension series and 06 is the bore code — 6 × 5 = 30 mm. In the RHP scheme the absence of an angle letter is itself the angle code: a plain 7006 is 40°, where a 7006C would be 15° and a 7006E 25°. The T is a phenolic cage, DU marks duplex grinding, the L calls light preload and P4 is the tolerance class, equal to ABEC 7. The carton’s second designation, 7006TDUEP7, repeats the missing angle letter and gives the class again as EP7, so both markings agree on 40° and ABEC 7.
A 40° contact angle is the high-thrust end of the angular contact range. It carries far more axial load than a 15° ring of the same envelope and gives up limiting speed and some radial rigidity in exchange, which makes it the usual choice where thrust dominates, such as a screw or worm shaft. Light preload keeps friction and heat generation low. The phenolic cage is rated to 120 °C.
Each row takes thrust in one direction only, toward the high shoulder. Set back-to-back or face-to-face, the duplex pair locates the shaft in both directions and takes moment load; set in tandem, the pair remains one direction and roughly doubles the thrust capacity. Duplex faces are ground so that the pair clamps up to its intended preload without shims.
2 Pcs. One matched duplex pair, light preload class, no spacers.
A duplex pair stays together as a set with its face marks aligned, since the ground relief is what produces the preload. Both rings are clamped fully against their abutments, and interference on the shaft and housing seats adds to the ground preload, so those seats are held to spindle tolerances rather than to nominal 30 mm and 55 mm.
The 40° duplex equivalents at this envelope are the FAG B7006-B-T-P4S-DUL and the SKF 7006 BD/P4ADGA, where the B designates 40°. The Timken Fafnir MM9106WI CR DUL is the same 70-series envelope in a duplex light set. The SKF 7006 CD/P4ADGA, FAG B7006-C-T-P4S-DUL and NSK 7006CTYNSULP4 are 15° parts of this same envelope, so they are related sizes rather than interchanges.
