RHP 7000CTDULP4 super precision angular contact ball bearings, supplied as a universally matched duplex pair in the ISO 10 dimension series. Each bearing is 10 mm bore, 26 mm outside diameter, 8 mm width, giving 16 mm of total width across the pair. Rings and balls are carbon chrome bearing steel to SAE 52100, through hardened and heat treated for dimensional stability.
In the RHP scheme: 7 is a single row angular contact ball bearing, 0 the ISO 10 dimension series, 00 a 10 mm bore code, C a 15° contact angle, T an outer-ring-guided laminated phenolic cage, DU a duplex universal pair, L light preload and P4 the precision grade. P4 is ISO Class 4, ABEC 7 and British Standard BS292 grade EP7. The carton repeats the bearing in two further schemes, B7000X2TADULEP7 in the RHP B-series and 2MM9100WICRDUL in the Fafnir scheme, in which X2 and 2MM both denote 15° and the 9100WI series maps to the ISO 70 series, so 2MM9100WI is a 7000.
A 15° contact angle favours speed and radial stiffness; a 25° bearing in the same envelope carries more thrust and runs slower. Each bearing has a basic dynamic radial load rating of 5.3 kN and a basic static radial load rating of 2.49 kN. A light-preloaded pair develops 29 N of axial preload at an axial stiffness of 18 N/µm. Two bearings, supplied as one matched pair. Universal face control means the inner and outer rings are the same width and the faces are ground at manufacture to the light preload value, so the pair clamps up back-to-back or face-to-face without custom spacers, or runs in tandem sharing load equally. Bore and outside diameter deviations are matched within a third of the tolerance band and marked in microns on each ring face.
The high point of radial runout is marked by a burnished spot on the inner ring face and by a V line on the outer ring diameter; the V also indicates the direction of the contact angle, and aligning the marks minimises assembled runout. Shaft abutment diameter is 12.5 mm and the housing abutment runs 23.5 mm minimum to 24.8 mm maximum. Corner radii are 0.3 mm on the bore and 0.15 mm on the outside diameter. Effective load centre is 6.4 mm. Internal free volume is 0.9 cm³ per bearing and the lubrication jet pitch circle is 16.1 mm. A light interference fit on the shaft with a transition fit in the housing suits a locating position with a rotating inner ring.
B7000X2TADULEP7 and Fafnir 2MM9100WICRDUL are the carton-printed equivalents of this exact execution. SKF 7000 CD/P4A and FAG B7000-C-T-P4S match on envelope, 15° contact angle, phenolic cage and precision class. NSK 7000CTYNDULP4 shares the envelope, angle and preload but uses a polyamide cage, and NTN 7000UCG/GNP4 differs in cage execution, so both are related sizes on cage material. The 7000A5 executions run a 25° contact angle in the same envelope and are a related size rather than an interchange.
