Decoding the designation

The 9 x 26 x 8 mm envelope is the ISO 629 seat, which is why the carton also carries 629 ZZ and 629 2Z. FF is MRC’s own execution suffix and is published here as a carton marking rather than as a specification.

What these specs mean in practice

An 8 mm width across a 17 mm radial section makes this the wide, higher-capacity choice at a 9 mm shaft compared with a 609 or 619. Metal shields sit clear of the inner ring, so they retain grease and exclude coarse debris while adding almost no running torque, which keeps the speed limit close to that of an open bearing.

Fitting notes
