This is an open-style printed-circuit board assembly — specifically a base driver / regenerative converter board — used as a spare inside an Allen-Bradley 1336-family adjustable-frequency AC drive. Its job is the gate-drive and regen-converter interface layer between the drive’s control card and the power semiconductors. It is a component-level spare: it does not run a motor on its own, it has no keypad and no terminal strip for field wiring, and it must be fitted into a host drive of the correct frame and rating.
Earlier copy on this listing described the board only as a generic “drive control board”. Rockwell’s own designation for 119468 is more specific and matters when you are ordering: it is the base driver and regen converter assembly, which is a different board from the main control card (the 1336-family control cards carry -MCB-, -PRE- or -SP- style catalogue numbers). If your fault is a lost keypad, a corrupted parameter set or a dead comms port, the control card is what you need — not this.
119468 is Rockwell’s bare board/assembly number as marked on the PCB itself. Distributors and repair houses also list it as SP-119468 and PN-119468; all three refer to this same board.Bare six-digit numbers of this form are Allen-Bradley internal drive-spares numbers. They do not carry a 1336- catalogue prefix, which is why a search for “1336 board” often fails to find them — search the bare number.
Function: base driver / regenerative converter printed-circuit board assemblyPlatform: Allen-Bradley 1336 AC drive family — the range that covers 1336 PLUS, 1336 PLUS II, 1336 FORCE, 1336 IMPACT and 1336 REGENStyle: open board assembly, drive-internal mounting, no enclosureManufacturer status: discontinued by Rockwell Automation; supported only through repair, exchange and surplus
The 1336 family is long obsolete but enormously widely installed, and whole drives in the larger frames are both scarce and expensive. Board-level repair is often the only economic route to keeping a machine running, and the base driver / regen converter board is one of the assemblies that genuinely fails — it sits close to the power section and takes the thermal and dV/dt punishment. Having a new-old-stock board on the shelf is the difference between a shift of downtime and a week of it.
Because 1336 boards are frame- and rating-specific, verify the number on your existing board before ordering. Open the drive, read the number printed on the PCB, and match 119468 exactly. Two boards can look identical and differ in gate-drive scaling for a different power module.
One board. New old stock, open box — supplied as the bare board assembly as photographed.
Host drive, chassis, power module or IGBT stack, control card, keypad or HMI, ribbon and interconnect cables, standoffs, mounting hardware, insulating barriers, communication adapter, and documentation. No firmware, parameter file or configuration is supplied or implied.
Isolate and lock off the drive, then allow the DC bus capacitors to discharge fully and confirm zero volts before opening it — 1336 drives hold a lethal bus charge well after the supply is removed. Observe ESD precautions: handle by the edges, on a grounded mat, and keep the board in antistatic packaging until it goes in. Photograph the existing connector routing before removal; ribbon cables on these boards are easy to reseat one position out. After fitting, verify the drive powers up cleanly with no motor connected before recommissioning the axis.
SP-119468 and PN-119468 are the same board number written two other ways. Other 1336 spares — 1336-BDB-SPxx, 1336-MCB-SPxx, 1336F-MCB-SPxx, 1336R-PRE-SPxx and similar — are different assemblies within the same drive family, not substitutes. There is no modern Rockwell replacement board; the current-generation drive for a 1336 is a PowerFlex 753 or 755, which shares no boards with it.
