Locate a bearing axially inside a split housing
A stabilizing ring drops into the housing bore to axially position a bearing in a split plummer block, holding the outer ring where the design intended without machining a shoulder. Both listings measure 240 mm outside diameter by 10 mm wide, one an FR-type CONS ring supplied as a set of four. Ring OD has to match the housing bore and the width has to match the gap the print calls for, so read both off the old ring or the housing drawing instead of estimating. Rings normally get replaced while the housing is already open. The split castings themselves are listed under bearing housings.
