A single-row barrel roller bearing with a tapered bore, 75 mm bore × 160 mm outside diameter × 37 mm width. One row of barrel-shaped rollers runs between a cylindrical inner raceway and a spherical outer raceway, so the inner ring and roller set swivel within the outer ring. The bearing accommodates static misalignment and running shaft deflection, and carries radial load.

The barrel roller profile puts one row of long, convex rollers on a spherical outer raceway. That geometry buys a high radial rating and generous self-alignment in a section narrower than a double-row spherical roller of the same bore, and it carries load radially. The 1:12 tapered bore gives a variable interference fit: how far the ring is driven up the taper sets the final mounted clearance, so a single part covers a range of shaft fits.

The tapered bore seats either directly on a 1:12 tapered shaft journal or on an adapter sleeve fitted to a plain cylindrical shaft. The matching sleeve is an H315, which takes a 65 mm shaft and is supplied by its maker with a KM locknut and MB lock washer. Mounted clearance is set by drive-up distance on the taper, so the CN figure above is the as-supplied value measured before mounting.
The ISO base number is 20315. A cylindrical-bore 20315 occupies the same 75 × 160 × 37 mm envelope and is a related size, its bore being a different fit rather than an interchange.
