A Dodge Tigear-2 right-angle worm gear speed reducer in the 3.00 in centre-distance frame, 7:1 nominal ratio, with a NEMA 180TC C-face motor input and a left-hand solid output shaft. The worm set turns the drive through 90° while reducing speed and multiplying torque — the standard arrangement on conveyors, augers, mixers and packaging drives where the motor must sit at right angles to the driven shaft.
Tigear-2 numbers read left to right as centre distance, input style, ratio, output shaft, motor frame:
30 — 3.00 in centre distance (gear case size and mounting footprint)A — C-face motor-mount input build07 — 7:1 nominal reductionL — solid output shaft on the left-hand side viewed from the input18 — NEMA 180TC motor flange
Centre distance, not ratio, sets the torque class. A 3.00 in Tigear-2 is materially stronger than the 2.6 in and 2.3 in frames at the same ratio, and the housings do not interchange.
7:1 is a low ratio for a worm box — efficient, but generally not self-locking. Do not rely on it to hold a suspended load when the motor stops; use a brake motor or a separate brake for that.
The 180TC C-face input only accepts a 180TC motor. This is not a solid-input-shaft build.
L is the output shaft hand. The R-coded unit is a mirror build, so confirm which side your driven shaft sits on.

One reducer. No motor is included. New old stock; the photographs show which accessory parts ship with it.
Check the oil level for the mounting position you intend to use — a worm box filled for one orientation will starve in another. Run in under partial load before applying full torque, and inspect the output shaft key and seals before fitting a sprocket or coupling. Choose a service factor appropriate to the duty; shock loads and frequent starts are what kill worm gearing.
30A07R18 is the opposite-hand output build of the same reducer. Other 30-series ratios share the housing and mounting but change output speed. 26 and 23 series units are smaller centre distances — related sizes, not substitutes. Quill-input (Q-code) builds mount a motor differently and are not interchangeable with an A-code C-face unit.
