A pillow block style linear unit packages the bearing inside a housing with a bolt-down base, so alignment is largely handled for you and no separate machining is needed to hold the bearing. What shows up in this narrow category tends to be complete units and spindle assemblies rather than loose components, and availability changes as surplus arrives. Measure the shaft diameter, base height from mounting surface to shaft centerline, and the bolt hole spacing before ordering, since those three dimensions determine whether the unit lands on your existing pattern. Unhoused blocks and bushings for the same shafting are far more plentiful under linear bearings.
